ROLE OVERVIEW

Under the direct supervision of the Environment and Natural Resources Program Manager, the incumbent prepares the necessary technical files to submit to the supervisor. Develops draft reports, participates in the work of calls for proposals.

 

ROLE ET RESPONSABILITIES

·       Prepare technical reports for projects and programs for sustainable management of the environment and natural resources.

·       Analyse the files of sustainable management projects for the environment and natural resources implemented by regional or national actors.

·       Implement sustainable management projects for the environment and natural resources at regional and national scales.

·       Collection of data and information on sustainable management projects for the environment and natural resources.

·       Identify needs and organizes capacity building workshops for stakeholders on various themes related to sustainable management of the environment and natural resources.

·       Capitalize on field actions and the identification of innovative practices in sustainable environmental and natural resource management projects.

 

EXIGENCES ACADÉMIQUES ET EXPÉRIENCE

·       Hold a Higher Technician Certificate (BTS)/Ordinary National Diploma (DNO) or equivalent in Program Management, Environment and Natural Resources or in a relevant specialized field from a recognized university.

·       Have at least five (5) years of relevant professional experience in a national or regional food crisis prevention and management system (namely, the creation, management, monitoring and evaluation of food security nets security and food security stocks).

·       Excellent knowledge of food crisis prevention and management systems and solid experience in analyzing food security and the vulnerability of populations, both in rural and urban areas.

·       Solid knowledge of food stock management, nutrition, and food crisis management, as well as program and project management in related areas.
