Francis Chuks NJOAGUANI is the current Director, ECOWAS Youth and Sports Development Centre (EYSDC) Ouagadougou. He was born on the 21st of July 1966 in Nigeria.
He holds a 2004 Masters Degree in Conference Interpretation from the University of Strasbourg, France and another MSC in International Relations/International Political Economy (1992) from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. He is also a holder of a Bachelors Degree in French from the University of Benin, Benin-City, Nigeria (1989) and a Certificate in Project and Programme Management, RIPA International, London, United Kingdom in 1996 among others.
Apart from being nuanced by management by Objectives, Njoaguani is a French-English-French translation and interpreting expert with an equal bias for Conference and Protocol organisation.
Under the supervision of the Commissioner for Social Affairs and Gender, Njoaguani is the alternate Chair, ECOWAS Volunteers Programme. He sets objectives, define and monitor the key performance indicators of the Centre and report to headquarters.
Njoaguani is responsible for the implementation of the ECOWAS Youth and Sports Policies and its Action Plan region-wide
He is also charged with Liaising with and fostering cooperation with relevant institutions and departments of the host country and the international organisations and diplomatic corps operating in Burkina Faso.
As Director, EYSDC one of his main duties is the management of relationships with local and international technical and financial partners of the Centre and the ECOWAS Commission within the framework of the execution of the mandate of the Centre. He is happily married.
